- WNC has many natural and man made attractions within. Born and bred in the Mountains of Colorado -- I appreciate the scenic beauty of The Smokey Mountains, and the milder winters, and in just a short day trip a person can find room to roam in pristine Mountain settings with roaring creeks flowing from the high mountain lakes and springs. The attractions of the area make setteling here a remarkable experience surrounded by National Parks with Hiking Trails, Skiing Trails, Harrah's at Cherokee,Handicrafts Museum, International Folk Moot, Newly Refurbished Ghost Town and even Ghost Town Harley Davidson.
